11 months

If I could freeze time right now I would. Nate and I LOVE this age. I know people say that it only gets more fun from here but I love that he is still my baby but so much fun! He is learning so many new things but I get to cradle him when he eats and he will cuddle with me before bed. He has been sick for about 2 months now and I cant count how many times I have had the privelage to rock him or cuddle him until he falls asleep, something we didnt do much of when he was little and when he is feeling well he wont fall asleep anywhere other than a crib, pack-n-play or carseat. He is an absolute joy and Nate and I feel so blessed to call him our son.

- He is crusing all over everything and is quickly realizing he can reach items he wasnt able to reach before, like opening the trashcan, picture frames, etc.
- He loves to give kisses and we love to recieve them!

- He claps all the time and applauds Nate after he has played a song.
- He still points to EVERYTHING!

- He still LOVES Bentley so much and has started giving her kisses. I am not sure this is something we should encourage. ;)

- He doesnt say much (babbles all the time) but can point to ball, book, blanket, couch, dada, mama, bentley, cousin Landry, Grams, and paci.

- I dont think I can quite count a first word but says "Bah" every time he is eating - is he saying "Bite"? Who the heck knows!
- He loves to eat big people food and is no longer on baby food! Yea for feeding himslef!

- He is getting SIX teeth at one time! This is crazy! In his 11 month pics he will have 2 teeth and in his one year he will have 8!

- He loves to "read" books and will sit on the floor and flip through a book and "read" outloud. He also loves to be read to. He really likes touch and feel books.

In other news, he has had an ear infection or fluid in his ears for the past 2 months. We have been to doctor appointment after doctor appointment, 3 antibiotices, and breathing treatments! Nothing worked so on Friday of last week we visited the ENT and he will be getting tubes in his ears this next week. At first I was really upset that we were going to need them when he is so young but he has been waking at night screaming and it takes him anywhere from a hour and a half to 2 hours to get back to sleep, so I am just ready for him to not be in anymore pain! I could have bought stock in Tylenol and Motrin! So if you would just say a prayer for him and that these tubes are the trick to feeling better, you can say a prayer for me too! Even though it is a very routine procedure, it is still considered surgery and he will be put under. I know many more parents go through much more but I just hate the thought of my little man being on an operating table and pray that this is the last time he will be there! :)

Here are a few pics for your viewing pleasure - no videos this time, we have been SO busy!

Sitting at the table like a big boy.

Crazy hair!

Eating a snack, he loves to eat out of his snack cup and will scream if you take it away!

Just cute!

Playing with his toys that his friend Julia let him borrow! He loves them!

Sound asleep with his bum in the air!

I love his crazy hair!! He looks so adorable in his sleeping picture.

I will be thinking about him, I know I would be worried too. I'm sure everything will go just perfect and you will be so happy when he is feeling better and then we can come see you guys.

Such precious pictures!

I don't know what Julia's first word was either. It's so hard in the beginning to decipher what's an actual word versus just random babble.

I hear tubes work miracles on most kids!
