Who knew that February 6, 2008 would be a new day that we will never forget? It was a typical day at work, and I was talking to a couple of my friends and explaining that my dog, Bentley was acting very strange. She was totally off her routine - she wasnt eating, not going to the bathroom when we would take her out, and started going potty in her crate, which she had not done in months! I was looking for advice on how to get her back in the swing of things when one of my friends says, "Are you pregnant?" I said, No. He then explained that dogs can sense these things because of the change in hormones and can begin to act different. So I started researching it, googling it, that is what I do with everything! Turns out Bentley was doing some of the things the internet was talking about. So fast forward a couple of hours - I am feeling sick, chills, just not good so I decide to go home. After being home for a couple of hours I thought, maybe I should just take a test and see what it says. I really didnt think I was pregnant, I had taken tests before...all negative, so I didnt want to get my hopes up. So I take the test, there are TWO pink lines...are you kidding me! The 2nd line was very faint but I just knew it was right. So I proceeded to call Nate about 3 times to see when he was going to be home. He finally got home, and I made him close his eyes and put the test in front of his face. He couldn't believe it...at first he was skeptical because the line was SO faint.

Later that night, I decided to go to the doctor because I still wasnt feeling very well. They did a test there in case they needed to prescribe antibiotics. It came back POSITIVE...it was for real. We were going to be parents!!
