First Appointment

So yesterday (Our 8 year dating anniversary!) I went to my first appointment, and they say I am 5 weeks and 6 days pregnant, which means I am due October 10! I think they may be a little off but we will find out for sure in 3 weeks when we get our first sonogram. I cant believe it is so close. I dont feel pregnant at all and feel like it isnt real. Fear has also set in, which is really difficult since 1 out of every 5 pregnancies ends in miscarriage. Just makes me so nervous but I am really trying not to think about it much and just praying for a healthly next few months.

Nate and I have been talking about names already because we agree on NOTHING...seriously this is going to be hard. We may have a girl name but he still isnt sure about it. He likes the really traditional names and I like more unusal ones. I think this comes from being 1 of 4 Melissa Kay(e)'s that I know and now I am Melissa Hall...are you kidding...do you know how many of us there are?? So I would like for our kids to not have a name that everyone else has.

We have also started talking about our precious puppy and how she is going to feel so neglected, which makes both of us so sad. She has been our child for the past year and a half and she knows it! She sunggles with us everynight and sleeps right on top of me. I love it...we will have to work on that! I included a picture of us sleeping...I think it is cute!
